ArboCityNet (ACN) is an interdisciplinary Swiss network that builds bridges between green space-related educational and research institutions, associations, authorities, the private sector, owners and users in cities and agglomerations.
What does ACN offer?
Creates an easily accessible web platform for the ongoing interactions and exchanges between all interested parties involved in Urban Forestry.
Stimulates the mutual and deepened exchange of experience and knowledge between administration, science and practice, such as best practices, in periodic participatory events.
Brings together a diversity of stakeholders stemming from different levels (municipal, regional and national) who have specialize in sub-aspects of urban forestry in the framework of a think tank.
Enables the transfer of knowledge from and to international networks (e.g., EFUF).
ArboCityNet brings together different disciplines working in the field of Urban Forestry. The network is very attractive thanks to the competences and strengths of its members.
